Getting Ready to Buy    The Purchase Process    The Closing
________________________________________________________________________________

Buying a home is an exciting and complex adventure. Buying a home can also be a very time-consuming and costly one if you're not familiar with all aspects of the home buying process, and don't have all the best information and resources at hand.

One of my specialties is representing the best interests of home buyers throughout the home buying process. My comprehensive, high-quality services can save you time and money, as well as make the experience more enjoyable and less stressful.

If you're like most people, buying a home will likely be the biggest investment you will ever make. So whether you're buying a starter home, your dream home or an investment property, I can help you make the most informed decisions you can, every step of the way.

WHAT IS A BUYER’S AGENT?

Defined most simply, a buyer’s agent is an advocate for the buyer, not the seller, in a real estate transaction who provides protection and guidance throughout the process.

How does my Buyer Agent get paid? The Buyer’s agent is typically compensated a portion of the commission that sellers pay to their listing agency, so the buyer does not pay for this service.

What is the difference between a Realtor and just a Real Estate Agent? The term “Realtor” is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate pro who is a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors) and who adheres to their code of ethics. A real estate agent is not mandated to follow this code of ethics.

Most likely, the seller of whatever home you buy will be represented by a seller’s agent who can provide expertise to them throughout the process. You should have someone to represent your best interest too.

FORECLOSURES & SHORT SALES

It’s not fun being out in the rain without an umbrella!  That is the same feeling you’ll have if you want to purchase a short sale, bank owned or foreclosed property but don’t have a good Realtor on your side. Frankly speaking, if you don’t have a real estate professional who understands these complex processes, you will be frustrated and unsuccessful in this arena.

Goodwin Realty Group has a bank REO (Real Estate Owned) full time division, resources at hand and the expertise to help you through this process from start to finish without undue stress.  In fact, we’re so keyed into this market, we have foreclosed homes that haven’t yet hit the market, but we’ll be happy to share with you.

If you are ready to explore the benefits of the foreclosure market, schedule your personal visit with one of our bank owned specialists today.
